Warehouse Employee

As a Warehouse Employee / EPT Operator, you will load and unload trucks, move pallets with an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) and sort shipments for further transport. Together with Dutch and international colleagues, you make sure all goods are processed efficiently and safely.

Most goods are moved using an EPT, making the work less physically demanding. You will work in an international and informal work environment with flexible scheduling options. Around 10-15 other international students are also part of the team, making it ideal to combine with your studies.

You decide whether you prefer:

• Evening shifts (17:00 - 21:00/22:00)
• Night shifts (04:00 - 08:00/09:00)
• Or a combination of both

Shifts are always at least 4 hours long. No logistics experience is required, and you can learn to work with an EPT on the job.

There are long-term opportunities at the client. You can work there throughout your entire bachelor’s or master’s degree alongside your studies.

The company is a global provider of transport and logistics services with offices in more than 90 countries worldwide.

• You live in or near Venlo.
• Available for at least 6 months (the longer available, the better).
• Available for a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week from Monday to Friday (the more shifts you can work, the better).
• Through Brave Ones, we help arrange a Swapfiets e-bike. Your travel reimbursement can be used to cover the monthly bike costs, making the commute from Venlo city centre only around 20 minutes by e-bike.

• Gross hourly wage of €15.00.
• Attractive shift allowances of 10% to 25%, depending on your working hours.
• €0.23 travel reimbursement per kilometre.
• Weekly payment.
• Possibility to obtain EPT and forklift certificate.
