Job Description

As a warehouse employee your main work activities are restocking shelves and picking products within the shop for clients, so they are ready to be transported the next morning to clients (e.g. restaurants). You will work with a scanner and have a high degree of responsibility and independence. The work atmosphere is characterized as open and friendly, the male/female ratio is approximately 1:1. You will work together with international and Dutch students. 

About the company

The company is one of the largest wholesalers of all catering needs such as vegetables, dairy, non-food and many fresh products with eighteen branches in the Netherlands. This branch is only 11 minutes by bike from Nijmegen Central Station.

Job Requirements

• You are available as soon as possible
• You are proactive and reliable
• Available to work Monday to Friday from 18:00 until 22:00 (longer shifts are possible as well)
• Available for at least until and including August for 20 to 40 hours per week.
• Living in or around Nijmegen

Hours & Salary

From Monday to Friday it is possible to work during the evening (18:00 - 22:00-23:00). If you like to make more hours you can start earlier (before 18:00) or stop later (after 23:00). They require working at least 20 hours per week (5 regular shifts or fewer but longer shifts), working more is possible too. Working both the Thursday (18:00 - 22:00) and Friday evening (18:00 - 22:00) is required as these are the busiest days for the company. 

Your salary:
21 or 21+: €11.16 per hour
20:            €10.79 per hour
19:            €8.96   per hour
18:            €6.89   per hour

20% allowance if you work during the night (00:00 - 06:00)
100% allowance if you work on Sunday (00:00 - 24:00)
You will get travel cost reimbursement (€0.19/km) when the travel distance is more than 10 km.
