Summer job: Warehouse employee in an ICT company

Job Description

Together with your team you are responsible for getting thousands of laptops ready for scholars for the upcoming schoolyear. Your tasks include unpacking, installing, labelling, repacking and bundling of new laptops. The installation steps do not require technical experience, only onboarding and focus. The company is looking for people who are communicative, proactive, hands-on and most importantly can work precisely. You’ll be taking care of large orders together with an informal yet hardworking team.

About the company

The organisation you’d be working for is a logistic service provider in the IT sector which offers additional services for its customers. The company is based in Wijchen, which is half an hour from Nijmegen Central Station by bus or by bike. You can expect a big warehouse with designated areas for this project. The team is young, informal and hands-on.

Job Requirements

  • You are available to work in the months of July and August (at least 3 consecutive weeks)

  • You can work for at least 24 hours per week

  • You are reliable, accurate and hands-on

  • No experience in logistics is required, but you need to be willing to learn

  • You are able to work precisely in an excel overview

  • You are living in Arnhem / Nijmegen

Hours & Salary

The work shifts are from 08:30 to 17:30 on Monday to Friday. You will have one hour of breaks throughout the day. You are expected to work at least 3 shifts per week, ideally 5. So you will work 24 - 40 hours per week. Your schedule will be made for the entire length of the project in advance, according to your availability.  

Your salary: 

€13,70 at 21 years and older
€12,50 at 18, 19 and 20 years 

When you live further than 10 kilometers away, you will get €0,23 travel reimbursement per kilometer.

Additional Information

You will go through 3 rounds of application process: 

  • Round 1: CV Screening. 

  • Round 2: Offline Interview with ISW. 

  • Round 3: Offline Interview / trying out the role with the Company.
